Supporters
and users of the Peckham Settlement are invited to join us as Members. We would
value your support and want to extend our membership not only to active Members
but also to well wishers, demonstrating the importance of the Settlement
in the local community. Members will have a say in what we do and how we do it,
and one of the major roles is to encourage new ideas and developments. All this
for a Membership fee of just £10 a year! Actually we hope you will make a
donation on top of the fee—if you wish to do so, it may be any amount of
your own choosing. If you are a taxpayer, your donation can come under the Gift
Aid scheme; all you need to do is sign the form opposite as it stands and we
will recover the tax from the Inland Revenue, which will add 28% to your
donation. The Membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December. Anybody
aged 18 or over may join as an Associate Member and enjoy the benefits described
above. Full membership, at no extra cost, gives the additional benefits of being
able to vote at the Annual General Meeting and to stand for election to the
Executive Committee, which has overall control of policy and management. Full
Membership is open to anybody over 18 who has been actively engaged in
furthering the aims of the Settlement, or simply taken part in the activities,
